Bad Breath

Bad breath is a confidence-crushing, soul destroying problem that very often, refuses to go away.

Everyone has had bad breath at some time or the other in their lives. But for those of us who suffer from a chronic case of bad breath or halitosis, the problem affects our day-to-day lives severely. No one wants to come near us and we become the butt of cruel jokes. We avoid talking too much to prevent negative responses and end up being lonely and blue. We also spend a lot of money trying to find a permanent cure.

So, is there hope for us?

I found this site that promises to banish the problem completely, painlessly and at no major cost. Click here to find out your bad breath cure!

Tommy Kavanaugh, who suffered from a terrible case of bad breath himself, tried all the cures that are normally touted for easing the problem and found that none of them really work. He then researched the subject himself and discovered the sure shot way to remedy the problem of bad breath effectively and at a very low cost. Bad Breath

There’s good news and bad news connected to the problem of bad breath.

The good news is that bad breath is not confined to a chosen few…everyone has suffered from bad breath at some time in their lives so there’s no need to feel alone.

The bad news is that when you’ve got bad breath…..that’s terrible news indeed.

You know you have bad breath when people start keeping their distance from you, avoid talking to you or if someone garners the courage to actually tell you so. Other than that, you can check for yourself by:

1. Cupping your hands around your mouth and huffing out strongly into them. If the result smells bad, you’ve got the problem.

2. Floss your teeth and smell the stuff you pull out….if it smells bad, your breath does too.

3. Another way is to stick your tongue out as far as it will go and lick your wrist with the back of your tongue. Sniff your wrist and if it smells bad, you’ll know you’ve got bad breath.

‘Bad breath’ is the layman’s term for the medical condition known as halitosis. There are a number of causes for bad breath, some that can be rectified quite easily while other causes are indications of possibly major problems.

The most common causes of bad breath are poor oral hygiene, gastro-intestinal problems, tobacco or eating and drinking stuff that promotes bad breath.

Bad breath can also be an indication of dehydration or severe gum trouble. Illnesses like diabetes, tuberculosis and cancer, among others, can also give rise to bad breath.

Some simple tips on preventing bad breath are:

1. Brush your teeth twice daily. Brush your tongue too. And make sure you floss your teeth at least once a day.

2. A dry mouth can cause bad breath. So make sure you drink sufficient water every day.

3. Don’t skip your meals as an empty stomach can also lead to bad breath.

4. If you use tobacco, work to kick the habit.

If your problems don’t get resolved with these simple methods, you probably need to meet your dentist to figure out the cause of your bad breath.
